    Warrior Builds, Updated For 4.3

    WarriorBuilds.com is a site that lists different talent builds and information for warriors of World of Warcraft. Many of these warrior builds come from people that email them to me, forums, wowwiki, etc. I hope you find the following warrior builds and information useful.

    I will be updating this page a lot over the coming months due to all of the changes happening with the Cataclysm release.

    News:

    Patch 4.3 has been released and with this change comes some changes to some of the talents and abilities warriors have.

     

    • Warrior Ability Changes:

    • Charge (and related abilities) - should now correctly path to a target even if the target moves during the charge. This change should decrease the likelihood of the warrior charging to a different location than the target.
    • Slam - now uses a new character attack animation.
    • Colossus Smash - now uses a new character attack animation.

     

    Warrior Talent Changes:

    Arms

    • Mortal Strike now reduces the target’s healing received by 25%, up from 10%.

    • Dual Wield Specialization - no longer increases Physical damage by 5%. It continues to increase off-hand attack damage by 25%.
    • Furious Attacks - now reduces the target’s healing received by 25%, up from 10%.

     

    Tier 13 Warrior Bonuses:

    Protection Warrior Tier 13, 2 Piece Bonus - Your Revenge ability now also grants a physical absorption shield equal to 20% of the damage done by Revenge.

    Protection Warrior Tier 13, 4 Piece Bonus - Your Shield Wall ability now grants 50% of its effect to all party and raid members.

     

    DPS Warrior Tier 13, 2 Piece Bonus - Heroic Strike costs 10 less rage while Inner Rage is active.

    DPS Warrior Tier 13, 4 Piece Bonus - Your Colossus Smash now has a 6% chance to proc from Bloodthirst and 13% from Mortal Strike.

    Arms Builds updated for 4.3

    Arms builds for Cataclysm now now viable for raid DPS.

     

    31/7/3 - Warrior Arms Build 4.3 - This has all of the talents you need to max DPS, if survivabilty becomes an issue you can remove points from blitz and move them into field dressing.

     

    31/5/5 - AOE Warrior Arms Build 4.3 - This one has additional AOE talents to maximize your DPS for AOE encounters. You can also switch 2 points from incite and put them into executioner.

     

    Rotation Priority:

    Keep Rend on target.

    Mortal Strike

    Overpower

    Heroic Strike when you have the rage for it

    Slam if you have too much rage

     

    Stat Priority:

    Hit till Cap(8%) > Strength > Crit > Mastery > Expertise Cap > Haste


     

    Fury Builds updated for 4.3

    This is the area for fury warriors. Fury is a DPS tree and warriors can do a lot of damage.

     

    8/31/2 (85) - Raid Warrior Fury Build With Titan's Grip - Recomended fury build for raids. You can switch out Titan's Grip with Single-Minded Fury if you want to focus on 1 handed weapons.

     

    Rotation Priority:

    Bloodthirst > *Raging Blow > Bloodthirst > Free GCD

    Heroic Strike when you have the rage for it

    Slam if you have too much rage

    * if you do not have the rage to activate Raging Blow cast Berserker Rage.

     

    Stat Priority:

    Hit till Cap(8%) > Expertise till Cap > Strength > Hit (up to 27% or until rage is no longer an issue) > Crit > Haste > Mastery

     

     

    Protection Builds updated for 4.3

    These are the tank builds for warriors. Warriors are some of the best tanks in the game but remember gear alone does not make a good tank; learn your craft, be alert and keep your group safe. Knowing what to use and when to use it makes all the difference.

     

    2/7/32 Warrior Tank Raid AOE Build - AOE tank spec good for tanking groups of mobs.

     

    8/2/31 Warrior Tank Single Target Talent Spec - Main tank spec for warriors.

     

    5/2/34 General Purpose Warrior Tank Spec - This is a general purpose spec that can be used for tanking or for some DPS.

     

    Single Target Rotation Priority:

    Shield Slam

    Revenge

    Rend

    Devastate

    Heroic Strike when >60 rage

     

    AOE Rotation Priority:

    Rend

    Thunderclap

    Shockwave

    Revenge

    Shield Block stop a lot of damage.

     

    Stat Priority:

    This is where you have to balance threat with survival:

    For Survival:

    Stamina > Mastery > Parry > Dodge

    For Threat:

    Expertise > Hit > Strength > Crit
